ARISE is an event for believers to inspire and equip each other to be salt and light where God has called us.
ARISE is an event designed to mobilize God’s people, in our community. ARISE focuses on the seven spheres of influence in society. This year, at ARISE, our speakers will be focusing on Education, Government, Business, and Arts & Entertainment. Each session will provide practical ideas of ways to make a difference in each of these areas of focus.
There will be an interactive Q & A at the end of each presentation, and networking time to connect with others.

Why Attend?
Not only does God call us to be salt and light, but he wants us to engage our culture. Paul went to Athens, the heart of the philosophical world, and was captivating. Daniel was a close advisor to several kings that did not agree with his religion. God tasked people with art and music, to be educators and leaders, to live in families, and to live lives of faith. As Christians, we must live fully in this world just as Jesus did. At ARISE, we will more deeply explore ways to do this.

MEET OUR SPEAKERS
, Global CEO of His Way at Work
Chris Patton is the Global CEO of His Way at Work, a nonprofit dedicated to transforming company culture and implementing Christian principles in the workplace. Formerly, he was President/CEO and third generation owner/partner of his family’s automobile business in LaGrange, GA. He is also the author of a blog – ChristianFaithAtWork.com. By including the resources accumulated over his years of learning to use the business as a vehicle for ministry, as well as real-life examples from his experiences, Chris teaches readers of his blog how to run their business from an eternal perspective.
This experience has led to multiple speaking engagements at various events and conferences in the Southeast as well as online with various churches in India. He has also been published in other blogs and newsletters as well as TwoTen, a national Christian business magazine.
Chris and his wife Kim have three children in college and live in Spartanburg, SC.
